This programme provides an in-depth and comprehensive introduction to the core essentials of social media marketing within the digital marketing space. After an introduction to digital marketing and major social media platforms, one will learn to establish an online presence, create posts, build a following, and manage your social media accounts. You’ll develop skills in creating and managing advertising campaigns in social media and learn to evaluate the results of your marketing efforts.

Course Outline
Module 1: Social Media Landscape
This module lays the foundation of social media marketing. You’ll learn what social media marketing entails, including the history and the different social media channels that exist. You’ll learn how to select a social media channel that fits your needs, set goals and success metrics, and determine who your target audience is.
Module 2: Powerhouses Of Social Media
Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest are powerhouses of the social media world. They provide you and your brand with the chance to interact with your customers across the globe at scale. But, each of them has unique features, analytics, and quirks. The module gives you a deep understanding of how these platforms work, how to make your brand stand out in
Module 3: Tiktok, Snapchat, Wechat, Whatsapp
If you’re looking to create a buzz online, then social apps are the place to be. Think fun, engaging, and ‘out of the box’ as that’s what these platforms are made for and audiences flock to them (particularly a young demographic).
Discover how to use, these apps to tune into your audience effectively. Take a dive into features and understand how to manage content to make the most of everything you post.
Module 4: Managing The Social Media
This module equips you with critical content creation and management skills. You’ll learn how to create effective social media posts and how to create a strong brand to help you build a social media presence. You’ll also learn how to establish an ongoing process to manage your content. This includes setting up a content calendar, managing and moderating your posts, analysing data for insights and iteration, and how to increase post effectiveness.
Module 5: Understanding Social Media Advertising
This module takes a deep dive into paid advertising on social media. Learn how to start advertising on platforms like Facebook and Instagram by developing effective ads. Learn how to work with design teams by capturing the essence of your ad campaign in a creative brief and understand how privacy policies may affect your ads. Module 6: Advertising With Facebook
This module will establish you as an expert in Facebook Ads Manager. Learn how to structure campaigns in Ads Manager by selecting ad objectives, target audience, budget, and placement that fit your unique goals. Learn to create and manage ads across Facebook and Instagram and evaluate and optimize the results of your Ads Manager campaigns.
Module 7: Twitter
Twitter marches to its own drum in the social media world – less post and wait, more what’s happening right now. It’s a platform that allows your audience to see, report and comment on world events in almost real-time.
It’s also a place where the audience is young, wealthy and educated. Twitter literally challenges you to be ‘cleverer’, and this module shows you how to achieve.
Module 8: Youtube
YouTube because you have eyes to see. And a picture speaks a thousand words – and this being social, should inspire a few thousand too. Social video is one of the most awesome tools in your new bag of digital tricks. And video is no longer the preserve of guys with film study degrees
This superpower is now yours, and here we give you all the tech and thought basics to make it happen, including how to set up and manage a YouTube channel and create strategies that don’t treat creativity like a buzzword. Learn how video sits within the rest of your mix across platforms, build your online audience and use advertising and analytics for visual campaigns that mesmerise.
Module 9: Measuring Your Social Media Marketing Campaign
This module provides you with the skills to optimize your social media marketing efforts. Learn to evaluate and interpret the results of your advertising campaigns. Learn how to assess advertising effectiveness through lift studies and optimize your campaigns with split testing. Understand how advertising effectiveness is measured across platforms and devices, learn how to evaluate the ROI of your marketing, and master how to communicate your social media marketing results to others in the company. This module will make one to learn how to analyze their campaign marketing results, optimize their campaigns, and effectively communicate findings to their teams.
Module 10: Set And Measure Kpi’s For Social Media Marketing
Setting up and measuring social media matrices that matters, will prove your effort has had a positive, bottom-line impact on the business.
For the purposes of this course and to make it a bit simpler to understand, we will segment the funnel into four key customer journey stages:

Module 11: Social Media Automation
Social Media Automation is all about making the most of you Social Media Presence with the least amount of effort. The program will guide to easily master automating your social network presence & how to get the most out of using the ‘2-Click method’.
Module 12: Prepare And Present A Marketing Campaign
In this final module you will practice creating a presentation on the marketing campaign you’ve been developing throughout the program with a project where you will gain hands-on experience with communicating results and formulating recommendations based on the results of a social marketing campaign.
